Parliament has agreed to set up a seven-member ad hoc committee to investigate Anas' exposé into the activities of the Ghana Football Association.

According to the Speaker of Parliament, Aaron Mike Oquaye, Parliament has the authority to set up special committees to deal with issues like this which are of national interest.

The decision to set up the committee was instigated by the Member of Parliament for Bodi, Sampson Ahi, who drew the attention of the House to the video which began premiering from Wednesday and ended yesterday at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Deputy Minority Chief Whip Muntaka Mubarack Mohammed, who is also the MP for Asawase, moved the motion for the constitution of the committee.

The Majority Leader and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, agreed to the motion and deferred formation of the membership of the committee to the next day.
