MOROCCO KING IN GHANA FOR THREE-DAY OFFICIAL VISIT

King Mohammed VI, King of Morocco, yesterday arrived in Ghana for the commencement of a three-day official visit.

The visit comes after the King's visit to the country was rescheduled in January this year.

This news of the visit was announced in a press release issued and signed by the Acting Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin.

According to the release, the visit is aimed strengthening the existing relationship between the two countries and also offer the platform for both leaders to discuss new areas of cooperation which would serve the mutual interest of Ghana and Morocco.

"On Friday, February 17, President Akufo-Addo will hold bilateral talks with King Mohammed VI, before hosting him to an official lunch at the Presidency," the statement said.

King Mohammed VI will depart for Morocco on Saturday, February, 18, 2017.
